We really enjoyed our stay! The house was spacious and conveniently located close to downtown Gatlinburg and just about a mile from Ober Mountain. I have severe animal dander allergies, so I truly appreciated how clean the home was and that it is pet-free. The host was wonderful, always quick to answer any questions, and incredibly helpful and accommodating. We can’t wait to come back again!

The cabin was perfect for my whole family we enjoyed the movie teather and the hot tub, everything was super clean, perfect location I really like the neighborhood it was private but easy to find and not so deep in the mountains. Host was super responsive and she did explain everything into detail.

I had an amazing time at Smoky Staycation! The amenities were truly impressive. As an EV driver, having a charger available on-site was a huge plus—it made the trip so convenient and stress-free. The location was perfect as well: just a short 10-minute drive to downtown Gatlinburg, which made exploring the area super easy. Overall, my stay was fantastic. The space was comfortable, well-maintained, and exactly what I was hoping for. If I come back to the Smoky Mountains, this is definitely where I’d want to stay again! Highly recommend!

We booked a last minute stay at this location as one last trip before my wife and I have our baby next month, and it was exactly what we had in mind and wanted for a getaway. Such a relaxing trip, in a very comfortable home with beautiful views and a very easy drive up the mountains. This house was very clean and had plenty of amenities for us to enjoy during our stay. Very close to downtown so it was very easy to travel back and fourth for food food and fun activities in the area. The host was very responsive when we arrived late at night. We would definitely be interested in booking this stay again in the future as we love to frequently travel to the mountains!

We stayed here during Thanksgiving week as a party of 6 - 4 adults and 2 teens. The downstairs game area and bunks were a perfect getaway from the adults in the house. The house itself has many modern comforts. And it is at the doorstep of Smoky Mountain National park, which we visited often during the week for hikes and bear encounters. Highly recommend!

Beautiful well stocked cabin! Great views of the mountains and even had a visit from a bear! The game room was a family favorite! Location was private but easy to find. Cabin amenities were as described on the listing. Joyce provided all the information we needed for a seamless stay and was quick to respond with any questions. Would love to stay here again!

Our group of 12 had a great stay at Bear Time Retreat for our annual friendsmas trip! Cabin was as described and was perfect for our needs! Really enjoyed the movie theater room and living room area was spacious. Hot tub was only meant for a couple short adults at a time but we made it work! Would definitely stay again!

The pictures don’t do this location justice, the cabin is absolutely gorgeous. My son loved the game room and hot tub. Everything was just amazing, will def be booking again our next trip to Tennessee! The host was responsive and accommodating!
